The Blazers had a short week to prepare and the weather made for a short game but SCS dominated Academy at the Lakes in every phase of the game last Tuesday to improve to 6-0 on the season.
The JV also picked up a win in a great game with TCA by a score of 18-14.
Jace Mayer sealed the victory with an interception late in the game.Â
The Blazers will travel to undefeated Donahue Catholic on Friday for a district showdown. The game will be a clash of styles as the Blazers high flying passing attack will take on the power run game of Donahue. The game is set to start at 7 at Ava Maria College.Â
