The Blazers defense came play against St. Stephan's pitching a shutout. Isaiah Leadford put the Blazers on the board with a 22 yard field goal.
Justin Brock was outstanding in every phase and was nominated for the Herald Tribune player of the week. He took over for
Ben Milliken who would later return to action. Brock lead the team down the field and eventually scored on a 1 yard TD run and Ledford added the extra point to give the Blazers a 10 point half time lead. Brock would score two more times in second half as he collected a 37 yard TD pass from
Ben Milliken and had a 12 yard TD run. Milliken was 19 of 31 for 179 yards while Brock was 9 of 17 for 97 yards. Brock ended the game just short of 200 yards.
Colton Loftus lead the receivers with 8 for 81 yards and
Travis Miller added 7 for 78 yards.
Sophomore, Mathew Manyak, got the start a defensive tackle and made the most of it recording 6 tackles including 3.5 tackles for loss.
Carson Spenn had 4.5 tackles for loss to go along with his team high 11 tackles.
Jacob Murray added 1.5 more.
Jack Ford broke up two passes and had 10 tackles.
Collin Lawson also had 10 tackles.
The Blazers held the Falcons to just 11 first downs and 199 yards of offense. The Blazers improved to 6-3 and will host Seffner Christian next Friday night for what will be Senior Night and Homecoming rolled into one. Seniors will be recognized before teh game starting at 6:35 while the homecoming court will be recognized at half time. This will conclude the regular season with the SSAA playoffs starting the next week.
