The Blazers put up a second straight dominate home performance as they rolled past Babcock 42-0 on Homecoming. The defense was nearly perfect on the night as they forced 3 turnovers including a fumble recovery in the endzone. Colin Lawson got a Hearlad Tribune game ball in the papers write up for the recover and forcing another fumble on the night.

Elijah George,
William Hughes and
Travis Miller all found the endzone on the ground.
Ben Milliken added to his record setting career with two more TD passes to Jsutin Brock and
Travis Miller. Milliken also found one of his favorite targets,
Colton Loftus, for 6 catches on the night.
In addition to the fumble recovery by Lawson,
Noah Spenn and Payton Gray had interceptions. The Blazers were lead in tackles by
Alex Basilio-Dominguez with 10,
Wyatt Campbell had 7 and
Jack Ford had 6 with a tackle for loss.
Gavin Martens brought pressure all night on the QB with 9 QB Hurries, 2 sacks and a tackle for loss.
The special teams where also great on the night with
Jack Campbell going 6 for 6 on extra points and the kickoff team pinning the Trailblazers around the 10 on two kickoffs, one on which lead to the defensive score. On the night the Blazers out gained Babcock 350 to 216 and pitched their first shutout of the season.
The Blazers are now 5-4 on the season. They have recovered from some tough mid season injuries and are ready to make a playoff run. Up next is the season finally in what should be a great game at Keswick Christian before the Blazers enter the SSAA playoffs on October 31.
