Eagles View made the trip down to Sarasota to open up the 2025 season. After a weather the delay the Blazers started the game on a fast pace moving down the field to inside the 5 yard line, but costly mistakes kept the Blazers out of the end zone. The Warriors capitalized on the early mistakes and found them themselves up 14 to 0 headed into the 2nd quarter. An interception by
Noah Spenn for the first turnover of the season by the defense turned the momentum and
Ben Milliken eventually found
Justin Brock in the corner of the end zone for a 22 yard TD.
The Blazer defense kept the Warriors out of the end zone the rest of the way and only gave up 215 yards on the night.
Cale Zeltwanger lead the team with 13 tackles.
Travis Miller came off the edge for three sacks on the night. The defense sparked teh Blazer offense as it came to life in the 2nd half with two more Milliken TD passes giving him three on the night. In the 3rd quarter Milliken connected with
Colton Loftus for an 83 yard strike and then with three minutes to play he found
Justin Brock again for a 63 yard TD. Brock made several Warriors miss on the play as he scampered all over the field to find the end zone.
The Blazers (1-0) will host Canterbury of Fort Meyers (0-1) on Friday at 7pm.
