The Blazers went on the road to take on the 1-1 Falcons. The game a little bit of everything as SCS built an early first half lead and extended in the third quarter before a late rally by St. Stephan's cut the final score to 35 - 23. The scoring started when
Ben Milliken connected with
Travis Miller for 27 yard TD. The Falcons tied it up on a long pass play but then
Justin Brock found
Colton Loftus after a great scramble and then ran another in from 17 yards. The next Blazer drive ended in a tipped pass INT but the defense came up with a safety when
Jack Ford made the tackle in the end zone.
The defense would force four turnovers on the night with
Cale Zeltwanger having two picks and
Wyatt Campbell had another along with forcing a fumble that Zeltwanger recovered.
Jack Ford lead teh defense with 11 tackles and 2 tackles for loss.
Jacob Murray was also dominate on the inside with QB pressures and a couple tackles including a tackle for loss.
Brock found Zeltwanger for another TD pass in the third. Zeltwanger had 106 yards on 4 catches while
Noah Spenn hauled in the last TD and finished with 6 catches for 93 yards.
Elijah George lead the rushing attack with 12 carries for 82 yards.
The Blazers had 392 total yards (283 passing and 109 on the ground) to St Stephan's 266 which was all through the air as they had negative nine yards rushing.
