Adrian Sadelson has committed to playing NAIA Division I soccer at
Southeastern University this upcoming fall. The 5'11" midfielder scored 4 goals and assisted on 7 in his two seasons at Sarasota Christian, having played limited seasons in both due to injuries. Sadelson will join his brother Cristian at Southeastern as the Fire welcome new head coach Gabriel Sitibaldi to the team as well. Sitibaldi has 93 career victories in 9 years and is two years out from a run into the NCCAA's (National Christian College Athletic Association) National Tournament with Trinity College, where the Trolls fell in the semifinals. The Fire went just 6-7-3 this past season and Sitibaldi will be looking to turn around the program using both a mix of senior leadership and incoming talent.
"It has been an honor to coach Adrian for the past 2 years at SCS. He has been an instrumental part of rebuilding this program. He plays with an intensity and drive that goes unmatched and has been a staple in our center midfield both offensively with his distribution and never shied away from defending. I know he will be an important asset to SEU as they are gaining a great player and great young man." - Coach
CJ Agate
