The Blazers had a strong start to the afternoon as they opened it up with two wins by the 2's,
Hallee Volkert and
Willow Bobik (21-17/22-20), and 3's,
Linlee Mayer and
Hayden Mullet (21-17/13-21/15-11), but couldn't take the 4's and 5's as
Lilah Rickert and
Ruvae Boskers couldn't find a rhythm, losing 21-11/21-12, and 5's
Olivia Shakura and Camilla Ceballos forfeited due to injury. With the game all tied up, the match came down to the 1's as
Ryan Donlin and
Reagan Miller took to the court. In a hotly contested first set, Donlin and Miller fought hard and pulled away in the final points to take the set win. Set two saw the Blazer duo down six points early, but they rallied back with great court vision, sending hit after hit to the sand to go on a 10-1 run, finishing the game with an impressive hit by Miller to seal the victory for the Blazers 3-2.
