Each year we honor two Volunteer Blazers of the Year. These two individuals have contributed behind the scenes to the athletic programs. 

No one showed up to help at the concession stand more this year and most of the time she did not have a kid playing in the game. She has a heart to serve and will do whatever is needed for the athletes and team. Snacks, meals, concessions, extra pair of softball pants, she is always ready. This year's first Volunteer Blazer of the Year award to Sugar Down!

Our next volunteer has volunteered as a coach at SCS for a number of years, assisting with the middle school flag football teams in the fall and with baseball in the spring with both the MS and the JV teams. He also provided the meal for Dinner on the Diamond as he spent his afternoon cooking. He is willing to do whatever is asked with a servant's heart. It is my honor to present this year's second Volunteer Blazer of the Year to Deen Fox!
