There, Josh was the team captain for his Junior and Senior seasons and earned Offensive MVP of the S.A.C. Region twice. Wanting to attend a Christian University and not be too far from home, Josh was recruited to play volleyball at Warner University in Lake Wales, FL. In college, some of his accolades include; 2x First Team All- Conference, over 750 career kills, and team captain for two years. In his year there, his team qualified for nationals 3 times placing third, fifth, and third respectively. The Warner Royals ranked as high as #1 in NAIA in his tenure and as high as #19 in the country in all classifications. Beyond the court, Josh was nominated as the Spiritual leader for the team where he would guide teammates through devotionals and weekly scripture. When his playing career ended, his love of the game never stopped. Josh has coached 16U boys teams for Orlando Gold Volleyball Club and is an avid Beach Volleyball player with his wife, Nicole.
