Kylee Allen is originally from Indianapolis, IN where she played 4 years of high school ball at Colonial Christian School. During her time in high school, she won 2 regional championships and was named 1st team all tournament twice. Allen attended college at Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC on academic scholarship where she played NCAA Division III basketball for the Bruins. Allen played both as a power-forward and stretch four player.
During her four years, Allen received 2nd Team All Region (2017-18), 1st Team All Region (2018-19, 2019-20), 2nd Team All American (2018-19, 2019-20), and Scholar Athlete (2018-19, 2019-20). Her senior year, Allen was voted the recipient of the Game Plan 4 Life Student Student-Athlete Character Award. Allen is the only player in Bruin program history to play all 127 games of her 4 year career. Upon graduating, Allen remained in Greenville where she taught middle school science and coached middle school volleyball at Bryson Middle School.
In 2021, Allen moved to Sarasota, FL where she and her husband work at SCS. Allen teaches middle school science and assisted the girls varsity program alongside Justin Scholl for the 2021-22 season. Her passion is developing girls as tenacious players on the court and servant leaders off the court. She values love (1 Cor 3:4-5), commitment (Matt. 6:33), balance (1 Kings 18:61), and humility (Phil. 2:3). These core values drive her to focus on eternal relationships with her players as well as create a unified team.
