After a good season for the Lady Blazers, the district tournament was upon them. All teams in the district would come together to play for the State Championship. The Lady Blazers came in with confidence, having won their last three games of the regular season. The Lady Blazers were matched up against the Canterbury Lady Crusaders in their first game of the tournament. The first set was a close fight the entire way, but the Lady Crusaders took the set 29-27. Down 1-0, the Lady Blazers looked to bounce back, fighting hard in the second set. Despite their strong efforts, another close set fell in favor of the Lady Crusaders, 27-25. The Lady Blazers showed great fight and positivity, as they did not back down in the third and final set, dropping it 28-26. Despite falling 3-0, the game was extremely close, with the overall point total being 84-78 in favor of the Lady Crusaders. The Lady Blazers were happy with the season overall, finishing with a record of 10-10, and showing great potential from the young core that led the team.
