The Blazers losing streak extended to 5 on Tuesday night at Bradenton Christian. The game was played evenly throughout, with both teams creating strong chances, but the Blazers failed to capitalize. In the 25th minute, the constant pressure applied by the Panthers front six finally broke through, putting the Panthers up 1-0 off of a corner kick. The Blazers continued firing shots, but none found the mark in the first half. Entering the second half trailing 1-0, the Blazers controlled the possession for the first 10 minutes of the second half, with multiple scoring chances created. Yet, once again, the score was not reflective of the flow of the game, with the Panthers first rush of the second half drawing a penalty kick, which they converted, increasing their lead to 2. Down 2-0, the Blazers pushed the Panthers to the brink for the rest of the game, but never put the ball in the back of the net, with the game ending 2-0. A disappointing loss, the Blazers still found hope in this game, with them showing their strongest team performance yet, continuing the trend of growth every game.
