The Sarasota Christian Lady Blazers recently played in the SSAC Volleyball Invitational. They competed in the top division of the tournament and proved that they belonged there by coming in 11th place out of 32 teams. Performing well, the Lady Blazers went 2-3 in the tournament, with 2-0 wins over All Saints Academy and Dr. KiranC. Patel High School. They made great strides over the course of those two days, with new players stepping up as leaders. Sophomore
Rozlyn Abel led the way with 12 aces, showing off stellar serving skills. The seniors showed off their experience, with
Bella Bogacz's 35 kills and
Madilyn Dreiling's 3 blocks.
Ashlynn Poznanski led the team with 48 digs. Overall, the Lady Blazers had a good weekend, and inspired confidence in the team going forward.
