The Blazers bounced back from a tough road loss in dramatic fashion Friday night as they defeated teh lions 42-14. The Blazers blew teh game wide open in the closing minutes of the second quarter as
Ben Milliken connected for three touchdown passes to
Judah Avery in the span of just minutes. The catches were for 19, 48 and 40 yards with the final one coming as time expired. On the night Milliken had his old form back and was 18 of 24 for 307 yards and 5 TDs. The Blazers had 432 total yards to just 199 for the Lions.
Colton Loftus and
Justin Brock also had touchdown catches.
The big plays continues in the second half as
Justin Brock took a punt return to the house from 59 yards out and sent the game to running clock.
Judah Avery lead the defense with 11 tackles (5 solo), two tackles for loss and a sack.
Randall Collins,
Austin Kerle and
Daniel Jacinto all had 6 tackles each.
The Blazers are now 7-1 and will host the undefeated and top ranked Chargers from Shorecrest Prep on Friday night at 7 pm.
