In the first home game of the season, the Blazers soccer team took on the Foundation Christian Panthers. The game was fast and physical from the start, leading to chances on each side. The Panthers broke through first in the 35th minute, giving them a 1-0 lead, which they carried into halftime. The Panthers' lead was extended to 2 early in the second half. After 50 minutes, the Blazers narrowed the deficit to one on a goal from
Austin Kerle, assisted by captain
Judah Avery. This was the closest the Blazers could make it, as they ended up losing the game 2-1. The Blazers go back on the road this Friday to take on the Southwest Florida Christian King's.
