In the home opener for the Lady Blazers soccer program they took on the Foundation Christian Lady Panthers. In the first half the Lady Blazers created chances, but were unable to capitalize, leading to a 2-0 deficit going into the half. To open the second half, the Lady Panthers and the Lady Blazers trade goals, leading to a 3-1 lead for the Lady Panthers. The goal for the Lady Blazers was the first of the season for captain Olivia McCoy, who lead the team in scoring last season. The Lady Panthers ended up netting one more, giving the Lady Blazers a 4-1 loss. The Lady Blazers will take on the Southwest Florida Christian King's.
