Brenda Bresciani was on another level last Friday evening as she dominated in the game against the Southwest Florida Christian Academy Kings. Bresciani posted near triple-double numbers with thirty-two rebounds, twenty six points, eight steals, and four assists, to lead the team to a 49-25 victory and improve to 2-3 on the season.
Octavia Stoller also had a strong game with sixteen points, eight rebounds, and three assists, just missing a double-double of her own. The Lady Blazers played strong team defense with twenty-two deflections turning into thirteen steals, while forcing twenty-seven turnovers by the Kings.
The Lady Blazers will be in action again on Friday evening at 5:30pm, facing off against the Gulf Coast Heat (8-0) in a game that'll prove to be a very tough one for the Lady Blazers. The Blazers are led on the season by Bresciani averaging a double-double (21 ppg, 20.8 rpg, 6 spg) and Stoller's (10.5 ppg, 5.3 rpg) strong shooting and will hope to use those strengths to overcome the Heat.
