The Lady Balzers traveled to Admiral Farragut last night and came back with a victory thanks to a late rally. The game was 1-1 at half time thanks to a goal by
Avery Miller and solid goalie play by
Olivia McCoy. The BlueJackets would take a 2-1 lead midway through the second half. SCS dominated the time of possession and had a season high 32 shots on goal but still trailed with 15 minutes to play.
Khloe Campion tied the game up with a great shot from the left corner of the box with just under 15 minutes to play. Just a couple minutes later the Blazers would find the net again as
Haley Bolton took the rebound and drove it home. Haley had a team high 11 shots on the night. The BlueJackets offense put some pressure on the Blazers over the final 10 minutes but Allie Smith lead a determined defense that made shots difficult.
Olivia McCoy kept the few shots they got out of the goal with 10 saves on the night.
Selah Spenn recorded an assist and a couple shots on goal while Ran Donlin recorded six shots on goal. The Lady Blazers will host SMA at home tonight at 5 PM. The Blazers defeated SMA 2-1 last year in another great game.
