The Blazers tennis teams made the trip to Bayshore to take on the Bruins for the second time this season. The Blazers and Lady Blazers both picked up wins in their first matchup with the Bruins the week before, and were looking to complete a season sweep. The Blazers took care of business, winning in straight sets in all 6 matches, while the Lady Blazers were in a much closer fight. After
Emma Ferraro went down early, the Lady Blazers came back to take the other 4 singles matches. The doubles were split, giving the girls a 5-2 win, and gave the school a sweep over the Bruins. The Blazers take a record of 8-5 into a match against Babcock Neighborhood School Friday afternoon, while the Lady Blazers hold a record of 6-6 going into the upcoming match.
