Sarasota Christian won a 5 set thriller with a 15-13, 5th set win against Cambridge Christian.Sets 1 and 2 went to the Blazers 25-17 and 25-19. Sets 3 and 4 went to the Lancers 16-25 and 26-28.  The Lady Blazers trailed in the 5th set 9-11 before taking 6 of the last 8 points for the victory. Izzy Mocherman lead the serving brigade with a team high 10 aces! Sage Zeltwanger protected the net with 3 blocks and added three kills. 7th grader Finley Markley also added 3 kills and 3 aces. 

Sarasota Christian has the rest of the week off before a three game week that starts with a trip to Sarasota Military Academy on September 9 at 6:30 pm.
