The Blazer Boys Soccer team dominated on all sides of the ball on Tuesday evening as they rolled to a 4-1 win over Cambridge Christian. The Lancers had 19 returners from last years team that handed the Blazers an 0-7 loss to begin the 2024-25 season, but the Blazers put together the best all around game that the program has had in ten years to stifle the Lancers on offense and push through four goals on offense. Matthew Manyak was incredible in the goal with great save after great save, but the Lancers would strike first as Manyak reached up to save a ball over his head and the rebound went straight to a Lancer forward who put the ball into the back of the net to take their only lead of the game at 1-0. The Blazer equalizer came right before halftime as the Lancer goalkeeper came out too far on a ball pushed ahead on the right side of the field and Jack Campbell (3) turned that mistake into a goal as he launched the ball high up over the goalkeeper and it found the middle of the goal. Goal number two would come in the 18th minute of the second half as Campbell found Adrian Sadelson (1) off of a corner kick and Sadelson one touched the ball into the goal off of a defender to make it 2-1 Blazers as the teams headed into the second half water break. The insurance goal for the Blazers would come six minutes later when Campbell pushed the ball up the field towards Cristian Sadelson (4) and the defender swung and missed, leaving Sadelson with only the Lancer goalkeeper to beat. Cristian easily popped the ball up and over the goalkeeper, leading to his fourth goal of the season. The final goal came as Cristian Sadelson and Campbell would work the give-and-go to get Campbell (4) a one on one with the Lancer goalkeeper in which he calmly pushed the ball past the goalkeeper and then drilled the ball into the back of the net to make it 4-1. The impressive win moves the Blazers to 2-1 on the season.

The Blazers will be back in action on Friday as they travel to The Classical Academy of Sarasota to battle against the Patriots at 7pm.
