Blazer Girls Basketball hosted Bishop McLaughlin on Friday and proved to be too much for the Hurricanes as they controlled most of the game en route to a 38-22 victory. The Blazers came out to a quick lead as their full court pressure was too hot to handle. The Blazers slowly increased their lead up to 23 points at 34-11 right before the end of the third quarter. From there, the Hurricanes came back with their best quarter of the day as they doubled their score going into the fourth, but it wasn't enough to come back against the Blazers.

The Blazers move to 5-2 on the season and head into Christmas break until December 29th as they host the Sarasota Christian Holiday Classic. The Holiday Classic will include girls basketball for the first time and will include Victory Christian, Cambridge Christian, and Tampa Prep. The Blazers will face off against Tampa Prep at 4pm on the 29thÂ
