For the first time, the boys and girls basketball programs here at SCS will host the annual Holiday Classic together as they invite teams from across Florida to compete in the four team tournament to closeout the 2025 calendar year. This will be the first time that the girls basketball program will host a tournament as part of the Holiday Classic and we are excited to host five other schools for the two day tournament. On the girls side, Cambridge Christian (Tampa) will open up the tournament against Victory Christian (Lakeland) at 2:30pm on Monday, December 29th, followed by Tampa Prep facing off against the Blazers at 4pm. The winners will play at 4pm on Tuesday, December 30th, in the Holiday Classic Championship, while the losers will battle it out for third place at 2:30pm. The boys side of the tournament will start at 5:30pm on Monday with the All Saints' Academy (Winter haven) taking on the hosting Blazers, while Meadowbrook Academy (Ocala) will face Cambridge Christian (Tampa) at 7pm to finish off day one of the boys tournament. The winners will face off at 7pm on Tuesday night, while both losers will play for third place at 5:30pm.
