The Blazers had two full days of sunshine and beach volleyball over the weekend in Tavares, FL.  On day one the A team dominated Bradenton Christian B and Cambridge Christian School with R. Donlin & S. Zeltwanger won a set 21-3, 21-4, and E. Miller and C. Webb winning 21-2 in their second set. The B team fell early to the high ranking Brevard Heat but later won against BST 3-0.  Starting Saturday, the A team found themselves in the quarter finals of the Gold Bracket where they swept 27th Ranked Brevard HEAT 3-0.  R. Miller and R. Abel had some incredible comebacks throughout the tournament, where they turned a 5 point deficit into a 3 set victory.  Rozlyn herself served 4 aces to close out one of the 3rd sets and completely shift the momentum of the team.  The B team found themselves in the quarterfinals of the Silver Bracket against Cambridge Christian, they fought hard but lost in a close match. The B team finished out their weekend with a win over Lake Mary Prep 3-0. A team finished their weekend losing to the (eventual) State Championship team of Indian Rocks Christian 0-3.  E. Miller and C. Webb fought hard to take them to 3 sets and should be very proud of themselves.

The Lady Blazers worked hard over the weekend and grew as individuals, pairs and a team.  They are closing in on the end of their season, while continuing to improve to finish well! Next match is Senior Night, Tuesday April 15th at 4pm!
