SCS will offer athletic physicals and heart screenings on June 5 from 10 am to 2 pm. The physicals will be performed by Dr. Sherry Shamp, Dr. Joey Shamp or Dr. Jason Walsh. We are once again partnering with Who We Play For to provide heart screenings. A heart screening is not required by the FHSAA to participate in athletics but it is encouraged. The screening is not needed every year. 

The physical process will start in the gym and utilize the locker rooms and lecture hall. The athletic department will have computers available for you to set up an Athletic Clearance account if needed. Physical forms will also be printed out and ready to go. At the conclusion of the physical we will scan the physical and send it to the parent to upload to Athletic Clearance. The athletic department does not take paper forms and all documentation must go through Athletic Clearance.

Heart Screening

Please note that you are not required to get a physical at school. The physical can be from teh medical provider of your choice and just needs to be complete and uploaded to Athletic Clearnace prior to the start of the athletes first athletic season.
