Blazer Girls Soccer hosted Babcock Ranch High School on Tuesday night on a night when they would honor their five senior girls and celebrate their careers as Blazers. The Blazers would strike first in the 29th minute as Selah Spenn would take a free kick from outside of the penalty area and send it towards the goal box. After a scramble for possession, Reagan Miller (4) would connect with the ball and send it flying past the Trailblazers goalkeeper to put the Blazers up 1-0. The game would be evened up five minutes later as the Blazers would fail to capitalize off of the corner kick and get beat on the break out as the Trailblazers would win the sprint to the ball and the Blazers didn't have enough back on defense to stop them. The game would continue into halftime at 1-1 and into the eighth minute until Senior Gabi DaSilva would intercept a goal kick and launch it into the air, bouncing it past the goalkeeper and into the goal to go up 2-1. But the Trailblazers would bounce right back and tie the game at 2 each as a breakdown off of a throw-in allowed just enough space for the Trailblazer forward to pop the ball up and over Blazer goalkeeper Brooklyn Loftus' head and into the goal. The Blazers would get their third and final goal just a few minutes later as Selah Spenn would take another free kick and place this ball perfectly towards the goal. Senior Haley Bolton (3) had a nose for the ball and beat the opponent to it to make sure the goal counted. The Blazer defense would stand strong the rest of the way as they picked up a much needed victory headed into the FHSAA tournament next week.

The Blazers will head to Saint Stephen's Episcopal School on Thursday night to battle it out against the Falcons, before finishing up their 2025-26 season at home on Friday evening against Winthrop College Prep.
