The Sarasota Christian girls soccer program beat Winthrop College Preparatory Academy 8-0 to improve to a record of 10-5-1 on the season.

Reagan Volkert and Selah Spenn each scored a brace to lead the way for the Blazers. Meanwhile Seniors Cameron Lundquist and Ella Aylsworth were able to get their first goals of the season. Brooklyn Loftus and Brooklyn Mruczek finished off the scoring to secure the dominant win.

Sarasota Christian enters tournament play next week as WCAC and SSAA finalists. Meanwhile their 10 win season is their best season in over 20 years. Coach Dikranian had this to say about the season, "We had lost so many seniors from last year, I think many expected us to have a rebuilding year. Instead the seniors have made their mark on the program, our returning players showed a ton of growth, and we got some immediate impact from several new players. This program took a really solid step forward and I couldn't be prouder of the heart these girls show."
