SCS improved to 8-3 with a 74-53 road victory over the King's of Southwest Florida Christian Academy. The Lady Blazers jumped out to a fast start with relentless defense and an attacking offense. The defensive intensity had the Blazers off to a 27-11 first quarter score. The fast start continued through much of the first half as halftime found the Blazers up 45-21. Both teams finished out the second half with 29 points each as the Blazers wound up with the 74-53 win. The Blazers were led by a double double-double effort by
Nikki Olupitan and
Brenda Bresciani, both with 28 points and double digit rebounds, while
Jada Gibson added 7 points, and
Grace Gallo and
Octavia Stoller added 6 points each.
