The Lady Blazers jumped out to an early lead and never trailed in the game. After a slow beginning to the first quarter, the Blazers opened it up late after
Grace Gallo hit a three and
Octavia Stoller knocked down a pair of free throws to make it 9-3 with a minute to go. The Blazers would get a mid-ranged jumper from
Nikki Olupitan to finish the quarter at 11-3. The Blazers would storm out in the second and grow the lead to 20 points before slowing down and finishing the quarter with a 15 point lead at 29-14. Nikki Olupitan's near triple-double with 18 points, 15 rebounds and 8 steals.
Octavia Stoller had 13 points, and
Grace Gallo ended up with 7 points. "Tonight was an excellent team game that saw all the players suited up for the Blazers come in and contribute to the victory." - Coach Corwin. Sarasota Christian will travel to Keswick Christian for the District Championship game on Friday night at 7:30 PM. They improved to 15-7 on the season.
