The Blazer Girls Tennis team had a tough day on Tuesday against the Village School of Naples as they fell 1-6. Emma Ferraro got the lone victory for the Blazers as she completed her senior season going 10-1 in match play, with her only loss coming in the district finals last week. 

The loss ends the Blazers 2025-26 year as the Blazers went 9-1 during season play, won the FHSAA 1A District 11 team championship before falling in the teams first trip to the FHSAA regional tournament.

During the 25-26 season, Stella Melchiorre went 7-2 as the Blazers 1 Singles player. In 2 singles, Aubrey Eggebrecht also went 7-2, while going 1-0 in 1 singles. In 3's and 4's singles, the Blazers Senior Duo of Haley Bolton (3's, 7-0) and Emma Ferraro (4's, 6-0) went undefeated through the season. And Blazer eighth grader Sophia Ocasio went undefeated, 4-0, in the 5's singles position, while also going 2-0 in 2's, 2-0 in 3's, and 1-1 in 4's for the Blazers. In doubles, Melchiorre and Eggebrecht went 6-2 on the season in 1's, while Bolton and Ferraro went 6-1 in 2's and 2-0 in 1's.
