She always has a smile on her face and is a constant encouragement to her teammates. She is coachable and works hard to learn new things while teaching others along the way. 

• From Coach Allen. "Brenda is an all-around incredible athlete and teammate. God created her with amazing speed and athleticism, which she uses every single day to excel and bring Him glory. At one point in the basketball season, she was one of the top rebounders in the nation, averaging 20 rebounds a game. Her sweet spirit, ability to take criticism, and love for the sport makes her a great teammate and athlete deserving of the Blazer of the Year award."

She simply makes those around her better which is the hallmark of a great teammate.
