Randall Collins has committed to play baseball at New College of Florida. The Mighty Banyan's are a part of the Sun Conference and play in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). New College of Florida is one of the newest members of the Sun Conference, consisting of NAIA powerhouses Southeastern University and Webber International, both made it to the NAIA World Series bracket a year ago with the Fire making a trip to the championship game.
Collins finished his senior season with a +.500 batting average, driving in over 30 runs and scoring 17 of his own on 13 extra base hits. The senior walked 10 times, was hit by 3 pitches and stole 9 bases. On the mound, Collins finished with a 2-3 record for the season in 9 appearances, striking out 44 batters in 40.2 innings with an 3.96 ERA.
