"The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve." Matthew 20:28. As Christ washed the disciple's feet, you have been an example of service to us and we will always owe you a great debt of gratitude.

The Blazer Towel award is designed to recognize significant service to the athletic department. To highlight people who have done the little things to be the hands and feet of Christ. This year the honor of this award goes to a coach that has a deep love for all our athletes regardless of the sport they play. I have seen him at MS and HS games for almost every team on campus. He has spent countless hours learning the latest training techniques and how they can help our athletes. In the past year he has probably worked with over 90% of our athletes and sends the athletic department at least a couple ideas a day of how we can improve.

The athletic department's highest service award, the Blazer Towel, goes to Robby Lyons. Thank you for your willingness to serve our athletes through coaching.
