Ben Milliken has committed to playing NCAA Division I football at Furman University for the Paladin's. Milliken ended his senior season with 2306 yards of passing, with 27 TD's, finishing his career as a Blazer with just over 9000 yards and 113 touchdowns, while averaging 225.8 yards per game. Ben will join the Paladin's under Head Coach Clay Hendrix as he enters into his tenth year leading the program. The Paladin's are coming off of a 6-6 season in the Southern Conference, a conference consisting of: Mercer, Western Carolina, East Tennesee State University, Wofford, Chattanooga, Furman, the Citadel, Samford, and the Virginia Military Institute.
"Ben can throw the football with anyone. He found ways to make throws and win games. He raised the ability of those around him. I am excited to see him get the opportunity to continue his career." Coach Spenn continued "I'm excited for Ben to experience college football at the division one level and cannot wait to see him on the field at Furman!
Milliken had 18 collegiate offers as a result of his record setting career at SCS where he graduates on the top 10 list of all time Florida QBs in touchdown passes. He is hte first NCAA Division 1 signee in Blazer football history.
