The Blazers traveled to the Shark Tank to take on Imagine School at North Port on Thursday night. It was the third game of the week for the Blazers and they got off to a slow start, trailing by 8 at the half. However, they rallied late in the third to tie the game. The Sharks kept it close the rest of the way with several ties and lead changes but the Blazers prevailed with a 46-44 victory.
Brian Hershberger lead the Blazers with a double double on the night as he collected 12 rebounds and 19 points.
The victory was the 11th straight for the Blazers and that is a new school record. Their last loss was before Christmas when they fell to Saint Stephen's, however they did get redemption on that loss during this streak with a 70 to 60 home victory back on January 24. The Blazers are now 14-7 on the season with four regular season games to go before the district playoffs and the possibility of a 20 win season.
