The lady blazers took on the MAC2 Conference tournament, facing off against Saint Stephens and Bradenton Christian, both teams that the Blazers lost to earlier in the season. To kick off the night, the Blazers started off hot with a huge victory over the Falcons from Saint Stephans in three sets, gaining the momentum and mental state they needed headed into the championship game. After working hard all season and earning a spot in the championship, the Lady Blazers final opponent would be the Panthers from Bradenton Christian. The teams would battle back and forth with each team taking one of the first two sets, setting up a final set to fifteen that would decide the championship. Unfortunately, the Lady Blazers would come up just short and earn 2nd place in the very good volleyball district. They've showed tremendous improvement and played their hearts off, showing exactly what it means to be a Blazer. Coach Kane and Coach Mullet were pleased with the effort shown in last nights battle. As the season comes to in end, the future of SCS volleyball is looking good.
