Kayla Sorensen, SCS MS Bible teacher, will be leading the MS girls volleyball team this year with help from her husband, Kenny Sorensen. Both have a deep love for kids and a passion for volleyball. Kayla played four years of NCAA DIII volleyball at Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy, Massachusetts. Following that she coached for two seasons at Eastern Nazarene. Kenny Sorensen also had the opportunity to play volleyball for Eastern Nazarene. Both coaches will be in the class room at SCS as Kenny will be a long term sub for MS science. This week over 40 MS volleyball players have been at volleyball camp preparing for the season. MS volleyball is set to begin on Thursday, August 10.
