The Lady Blazers could not keep up with a strong Tampa Bay HEAT team. After a tough first set, the Lady Blazers could not recover, falling 3-0. The loss put them under .500 on the season, with a record of 7-8. They continue to grow as a team, following the philosophy that playing good teams is what makes them better. They have three games left in the regular season, in addition to a postseason tournament, and a tournament this weekend. In preparation for the tournament this weekend, the Lady Blazers will take on the Out-of-Door Academy Thunder Thursday at 7:00 in what has been a full week of volleyball due to Hurricane Ian rescheduling. The Thunder are another strong opponent that the Lady Blazers fell to earlier in the season 3-1.
