The Sarasota Christian Lady Blazers picked up right where they left off, with a strong performance against the Sarasota Military Academy Lady Eagles. Playing strong from start to finish, the Lady Blazers took all 3 sets. Outscoring the Eagles 75-17 in the match, the Lady Blazers could do no wrong.
It was an efficient hitting day for SCS with 27 kills and only 9 errors.
Bella Bogacz had 5 kills,
Madilyn Dreiling added 6 kills and
Sam Mitchell added 4 more.
Ellie Miller lead the team in aces with 6 and
Ashlynn Poznanski followed right behind with 5 aces. It was a great serving day for the Blazer's as they were able to take SMA out of their system often. Ashlynn had 12 digs to go with her aces. The Lady Blazers improved their record to 2-0, and look to continue this strong start.
This weekend the Lady Blazers will play in the SSAC Invitational on Friday and Saturday, looking to come out of that tournament with 5 more wins. They will be playing in the top division of the tournament, showing the prestige of the program.
