SCS has over 40 coaches working with our 27 teams in the Upper School. Most of these coaches play the role of assistant coach. Assistant coaches play a vital role in building athletic programs as they multiply the time and ability of the head coach. each year we honor one of those assistant coaches as our Assistant Coach of the Year. 

This year's Assistant Coach of the Year is a coach that has gone above and beyond. He has a great passion for his sports and studies both more each year. He is here working with athletes year round and helping to build a program from one on one workouts to Saturday skill clinics. He is often the first to respond and take care of anything that needs to be done. We ask our coaches to be transformational, which is a lot harder than winning games. One way we have seen him do this is through hand written notes to each of his players at the end of the season. we am sure those notes will be saved and have an impact for years to come. This years Assistant Coach of the Year award goes to Scott Sienko, Boys Basketball.
