The Blazers used a great defensive game to hold Lemon Bay High to just 36 points en-route to their second win of the year. Josh Frazzini would get the scoring started with a 3 pointer at the 1:30 mark. Lemon Bay would answer the three with one of their own and take the lead with 3:30 to go in the first quarter with an offensive rebound that was put back up and into the basket to make it 3-5 Manta Rays. Sophomore Noah Spenn would score the next 10 points as the Blazers regained the lead and pushed it to 8 with a score of 13-5. The teams would trade baskets for the next quarter and Lemon Bay would take their last lead of the game at 17-18. Josh Frazzini would score the Blazers next 7 points to give the Blazers a 23-20 halftime lead. The teams would trade baskets to get to 27-23 before Frazzini would increase the lead by another 5 points, Carson Spenn would add 2, and then Frazzini would add another 3 pointer to make the lead 14 at 37-23 early in the fourth quarter. Frazzini continued to have the hot hand in the fourth quarter as he dropped another 2 baskets to make it 42-26 with 4 minutes to go. Lemon Bay would do what they could to battle back, but couldn't make up the ground, giving the Blazers their second win of the season at 43-36.

Noah Spenn would finish the game with 10 points after being the spark that got the Blazers going in the first quarter. Frazzini ended with a new season high of 26 points. Randall Collins finished with 11 rebounds to lead the Blazers in the battle of the boards.

The Blazers travel to Bishop McLaughlin on Tuesday evening for their first away game of the 2024-25 season. Bishop is 0-1 on the early season as they are coming off of a 10-12 season from last year. In last years matchup, the Blazers won 60-37 as the Blazers used a well balanced team scoring game to defeat the Hurricanes.
