The Boys Basketball Blazers played a home game against Canterbury of Saint Pete on Tuesday, January 14, in an important District matchup, just the second District team they've faced this season. The game got off to a slow start, with the Blazers leading 6-3 after the first quarter. The second quarter remained tight, but Josh Frazzini hit a 3-pointer and a layup in the final minute, giving the Blazers a 24-11 lead at halftime. The Blazers took control in the third quarter, going on a strong run with contributions from all players. They went on to win 55-30. Scoring Leaders; Ben Milliken 21pts and 9rbs, Josh Frazzini 14pts, Travis Miller 11pts.
The Blazers will now travel to Lakeland, Florida, for the SSAA tournament on January 17-18, with their first game against Morningside Academy from Port St. Lucie.
