The Blazers boys' basketball team traveled to ODA on Tuesday, December 9th, for one of the most anticipated matchups in the area. The game began slowly for the Blazers, who fell behind 6–16 in the first quarter and trailed 33–17 at halftime.
Coming out of the break, the Blazers completely flipped the momentum. They opened the third quarter with a remarkable 12–0 run, cutting the deficit to just five with four minutes left in the period. Both teams continued to battle, but the Blazers' hard work, energy, and execution on both offense and defense ultimately carried them past the Thunder. After trailing 31–11, the Blazers erupted on a dominant 49–19 run to secure the comeback victory.
