The Blazers hit the road to St. Pete for their first district match-up of the season against Canterbury School of Florida. They came out strong, executing well on both ends and took a 13-9 lead going into the second quarter. To get the score rolling, Justin Brock (1) and Ben Milliken (2) would both hit threes, showing the firepower that the Blazers have behind the arc. Milliken would hit two more in the second and Brock would knock down three baskets of his own to take a 25-19 lead going into the half. Milliken led the first half scoring with 12 and Brock had 9. In the second half, the Blazers all got in the scoring column as the basket opened up for everyone. Drew Sirianni, Noah Spenn, and Travis Miller all hit baskets to bring the lead up to 8 at the midway mark of the third quarter. But the Blazers couldn't put away the game as the Crusaders closed to within 5 as the teams headed into the fourth quarter. From there, the Blazers struggled to get the ball to fall through the hoop as they were outscored 14-8 in the final frame with the final basket coming with 40 seconds to go. The Blazers would have a chance to win it right before the buzzer, but couldn't get it to fall, losing the game 44-43 to the Crusaders.
