Kailey Hackbart has struggled with medical issues that prevented her from being able to fully participate this year. However, she has impacted our student body in a unique way and truely lived out our core values. She was honored with a special Blazer of the Year award. From Coach K, "Her faith is unwavering. I have visited her several times and seen her reactions to when doctors would come and give her bad news, she always saw the positives and had faith that God had her in his hands."

From Olivia McCoy, "She is the embodiment of what it means to be a Blazer. On and off the court, she is a joy to her teammates, someone who puts their best effort into everything, helps others, and never gives up. Despite all the pain that she was feeling during the season, she continued to play volleyball and holds the best serving record in the History of SCS. She is a light to all she comes into contact with, exhibiting the love of Christ and color pink in every situation. Win or lose, she is the person you want on your team."
