The Blazer Boys Basketball team traveled to Valrico on Tuesday evening for their first of two match-ups against Panthers this week. The first match-up was against the Foundation Christian Academy Panthers. Both teams came out shooting the ball well and were deadlocked at 9 points each midway through the first quarter, but it was all Blazers from that point on as

Drew Sirianni lit up the bottom of the net in the first half. Miller dropped in 17 points, while Sirianni added 13
, leading the Blazers into the halftime locker room with a score of 37-17. After being tied at 9 points each, the Blazers went on a solid 28-8 run to distance themselves from the Panthers and put themselves in complete control the game going into the second half. The Blazers had a strong second half as well as every member on the team scored Tuesday night. They continued to hit shots as they won the second half 33-17, en route to a Final score of 70-34. Miller led the team with his first double-double of the season with 20 points and 11 rebounds, while Sirianni finished with 19 points. Tristan Skelton came off the bench for 8 points and
Aiden Reeves played strong in his first varsity start, scoring 7 points and grabbing 7 rebounds.
The Blazers will finish up their season against Bradenton Christian on Friday as the team hosts the Panthers for Senior Night.
