After Spenn stole third base, Kinsley Grieser would deliver with an RBI ground out. The Blazers would score three runs in the second inning after three hit batters and a walk scored the first run and then a Loftus single brought in two more to push the lead to 13-0. Coming up in the top of the third inning, the Blazers went back to work, scoring another four runs on three hit batters, two walks, and a two run single by Giada Down that scored Reagan Volkert and Nora Blasewitz to give the Blazers a 17-0 lead. The Blazers would surrender a run in the bottom of the inning, but would come through with the final out that forced the 15 run third inning mercy rule to come into effect.
