The Blazer Softball team traveled to Bradenton for their final game of the season against Saint Stephen's on Tuesday evening. The Blazers had a tough time defensively as they committed seven errors in the game. The game started off with the Blazers on top, taking advantage of a Falcons error that allowed Dakota Guerrero to reach and move to second base. Giada Down would then come up with a single to score Guerrero and put the Blazers up 1-0 to start the game. But that would be the last run the Blazers would score as they'd allow 1 in the first, 6 in the second, and then four runs over the next three innings to end the game 11-1 in favor of the Falcons. Down led the Blazers, going 2-3. Selah Spenn, Kinsley Grieser, Orchid Moli-Pouesi, and Nora Blasewitz all came through with a hit each, but the Blazers couldn't string them together and bring in any more runs. Brooklyn Loftus took the mound for the Blazers, striking out 4 while giving up just 7 hits.

The loss ends the Blazers six game winning streak in which they outscored opponents 77-32 and brings the regular season to an end at 11-6. As of last week's rankings, the Blazers are ranked second in district 10 behind Saint Stephen's. If the rankings do not change for tomorrows bracket releases, the Blazers will host Admiral Farragut. The two teams faced off against each other early in the season with the teams being neck and neck until the fifth inning when the Blue Jackets struck for 3 runs and then another 12 in the 6th to take the game 16-0 as the Blazers struggled at bat.

District Semifinals will be played on Tuesday, at 4:30pm at Fruitville Park against Admiral Farragut.
