The Blazers defeated the Saint Stephen's Falcons in extra innings. Colin Lawson gave the Blazers a great effort on the mound, working 4 innings and giving up just two runs on six hits, while striking out two batters.
Justin Brock (5-0) came in clutch in relief to grab the win for the Blazers holding Saint Stephen's to no runs in the 4 innings he pitched, while striking out six and only giving up two hits.
Will Papineau led the Blazers offense with two hits in his three plate appearances last night.
Randall Collins had the game tying RBI with a sacrifice fly in the 6th inning. In the 8th inning, Randall came up again with runners on first and second in the 8th inning. With a ground ball to the shortstop, the Blazers were able to get the game winning run across after a throwing error on the attempt to turn the double play, and defeated the Falcons 3-2. This win marks Co Bo's 25 win with the program and his first victory against the Falcons, while also being the first time the Blazers have beaten the Falcons since March 17th, 2017. The Blazers will play at home again on Thursday against Cambridge Christian.
