The athletic department has created a student run athletic advisory committee that assists the athletic department in several ways. One way is that they are responsible for selecting the Green Teammate of the Month. Green teammates represent our athletic core values of Love, Trust, Commitment, Respect and Servant Leadership. The Green Teamate is part of the Lead E'm Up training that the athletic department does as part of the Blazer Way. A male and female athlete are selected each month and they are also given a free Jersey Mike's sub with the A Student Above program.

Hunter George and Linlee Mayer were selected as the green teammates of the month for March. Hunter was selected, representing the varsity baseball team, for his vocal leadership and accountability for his teammates. Linlee was selected, from the beach volleyball team, for her leadership by example and for the love she showed her peers.
